Join Us for an Unforgettable Evening

Step into history and join us at the Robeson in Peekskill Gala as we commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Peekskill Riots and celebrate the life and legacy of Paul Robeson.

This one-of-a-kind event will take place at the Hollow Brook Golf Club in Cortlandt Manor, NY, on the very grounds where Robeson’s first concert was tragically canceled due to racial violence.

Hosted by Aaron Mair and featuring Grammy Award-winning bass-baritone Mark S. Doss, accompanied by principal members of Pegasus: The Orchestra, the evening promises to be both inspiring and memorable.

Your Evening Includes:

  • Reception: Begin the night with an open bar, savoring a harvest table filled with locally sourced foods. Engage with a compelling photo exhibition that shines a light on the historic events of the Peekskill Riots, enriching your understanding of this pivotal moment in history.

  • Three-Course Dinner: Enjoy award winning food and service, set against the backdrop of this historically significant site.

  • Mesmerizing Concert: The evening culminates with "Here I Stand," a powerful tribute to Paul Robeson. Let the music of Mark S. Doss and Pegasus: The Orchestra transport you through the spirituals, folk songs, and classical masterpieces that defined Robeson's career.

  • Meet & Greet: Cap off the night with an exclusive opportunity to meet the artists, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
