Guy Davis
Guy Davis is a two-time Grammy nominee for Best Traditional Blues Album and a renowned musician, actor, author, playwright, and composer. With a career that bridges music, theater, and education, Davis draws from a wide range of genres including American Roots, Blues, Folk, Rock, Spoken Word, Rap, and World Music. His artistry is rooted in storytelling—whether addressing social injustice, revisiting historical events like the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, or capturing everyday struggles and joys.
Davis is a multi-instrumentalist, performing with six- and twelve-string guitars, harmonica, five- and six-string banjos, and didgeridoo. His performances feature both original compositions and interpretations of songs by blues and folk legends such as Muddy Waters, Lead Belly, and Pete Seeger. His stage presence is earthy, lyrical, and emotional—anchored in traditional sounds, yet unafraid to experiment with contemporary influences like hip-hop and honky-tonk.

Reggie Harris
Reggie Harris is an innovative singer-songwriter, storyteller, and educator whose work combines the power of music with an unwavering commitment to social justice, history, and community. With over four decades of performances throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe, Reggie has become a vital voice in the folk tradition, using his music to build bridges and foster understanding across cultural, racial, and generational lines.
His performances blend spirituals, roots music, and original compositions with narratives drawn from African American history, including the Underground Railroad and the modern Civil Rights Movement. These performances—both musical and educational—are designed to inform and inspire, offering audiences not just entertainment but meaningful engagement with the past and present.

Lawrence Anthony
Lawrence Anthony (LA) is the powerhouse bass vocalist of the legendary a cappella group The Persuasions, bringing soulful depth, stage magnetism, and unwavering social conviction to every performance. A singer with a rich baritone-bass range and a flair for funk and old-school soul, Anthony joined The Persuasions in 2016 following the passing of founding member Jimi Hayes. His voice now anchors the ensemble’s signature harmonies, preserving a tradition rooted in gospel, doo-wop, and the African American vocal experience.
Born and raised in New York City, Anthony came of age during the height of the Civil Rights Movement. His family was among the first Black families to integrate a Bronx neighborhood in the 1960s—a time when silence from neighbors and racially restricted streets were facts of daily life. That early exposure to systemic racism helped shape his identity as both an artist and activist. As a young man, he protested the Vietnam War and marched for civil rights, understanding that the fight for justice could not be separated from cultural expression.

David Bernz
David Bernz is a Hudson Valley folksinger, writer, and two-time Grammy Award–winning producer whose career spans more than forty years. A longtime friend and collaborator of Pete Seeger, David toured nationally and internationally, performing throughout the U.S., Canada, and Israel. His deep roots in the folk tradition and his commitment to social and musical storytelling have defined his life’s work.
David earned two Grammy Awards as producer of Pete Seeger at 89 (Best Folk Album, 2008) and Tomorrow’s Children (Best Children’s Album, 2010), featuring Pete Seeger and the Rivertown Kids. In addition to producing music, he recorded many of Seeger’s spoken-word reflections and worked closely with him to preserve and share his legacy.
